Before Resetting
- Back up important files.
- Remove any Google accounts if possible.
- Make sure you know your Google login information.
Step 2
Reset Through Settings
Most Android phones follow these steps:
- Open Settings.
- Tap System.
- Tap Reset Options.
- Select Erase All Data (Factory Reset).
- Confirm your choice.
- Enter your PIN or password.
The phone will restart and erase all data.

If You Can't Access Settings
You can reset using Recovery Mode:
- Turn the phone off.
- Hold the Power button and Volume Up button (varies by manufacturer).
- Enter Recovery Mode.
- Use volume buttons to select Wipe Data/Factory Reset.
- Confirm with the Power button.
- Restart the phone.

Important Note
Many Android devices use Factory Reset Protection (FRP). After resetting, you may need the previously linked Google account to activate the phone again.
